A total of 30 chromosome images were provided as dataset from the microscopic CCD camera, out of which 50% of them generated positive results and the rest remain for further validation.
The grey-scale images are in the formats jpeg, png, gif and bmp; ranging from sizes as small as 10 kB to large ones such as 3.5 MB. Their sizes depend on factors like resolution (96 to 300 dpi), dimensions (387×217 to 1017×896 pixels) and bit depth (8, 24 and 32 bits).
